OrGovia

Here at OrGovia's we focus on bringing big bold flavors that leave your mouth salivating for more.

We use ingredients from one place of the world and combined them with spices from a completely different reign where most would never think of putting together.

By combining the unique spices you find in the amazing country of Chile with the ingredients that you find on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico we here have created something very special that we know you'll love!

    My vision for OrGovia was simple ... F a m I l y

My Father being Puerto Rican meant as a child I spent my thanksgiving on my dad's side, from this I was able to watch how my aunts prepared their version of thanksgiving dinner. Which usually consists of very Puerto Rican ingredients and traditional dishes, for example, plantains and yucca alongside of empanadas, pasteles, and of course pernil.  As I sat and watched my aunts working together in the kitchen (with salsa blaring in the back of course).  I witnessed these amazing dishes come to life, and was awed with the flavors that accompanied them.

On the other hand, my Mother is Chilean, and I spent my Christmas' on my mom's side.  On this side I watched and learned from "the big three" we call them, that being my aunt, my mom, and my grandmother.  From very wholesome stews to casseroles I learned

You would think how vast the distance these two cultures are that they would have almost no similarities, yet they're closer then you might think, and that's where the idea sprouted.  How can I find a way to tie these two cultures together in a way that all can enjoy.  Along with the mixture of ingredients and spices from both cultures thus OrGovias was born.
